The robotic team named 4th Dimension, formed by high school students studying at Bahçeşehir College Izmir 50th Year Campus, won the ‘Impact Award’ at the FIRST World Championship held in Houston, USA. With this success, 4th Dimension became one of the six teams to receive the most prestigious award among 600 teams worldwide. Izmir 50th Year Campus, Fen ve Teknoloji, and Anadolu High School’s 28 students formed the 4th Dimension FRC robotic team with the number 6429, which participated in the FIRST World Championship held in the USA last April. At the championship where 600 robotic teams worldwide participated, six teams that encourage youth to become leaders in science and technology were awarded the ‘Impact Award.’ 4th Dimension, surpassing hundreds of teams and entering the top six teams, won this award for the second time, qualifying directly for the World Championship to be held in 2025. Bahçeşehir College’s robotic team became one of the top six teams in the world in the USA.

The Principal of Izmir 50th Year Campus Dr. Aylin Gil expressed their pride in the achievements of the students. Gil stated, ‘The success of our students is a result of the education they receive at school. Our robotic team, which adds fun to science and technology education, has made us proud with their awards. Acquiring the team spirit at a young age brought success along. I am sure they will show the same performance next year.’
