Technology continues to rise under the leadership of Lavender Robotics

The Robot Festival organized with the contributions of Salihli Municipality by the Lavender Robotics team of Geleceği Tasarlayan Gençler Derneği, the first and only children’s association in Manisa, became the center of attention for everyone interested in technology, from young to old. Despite the fact that the Lavender Robotics team was established less than a year ago, it has become the pride of Turkey with its success in international competitions and 8 different awards won. In a short period of time, aiming to reach more people with technology, the team brought people together with technology at the Robot Festival held in Kabazlı Neighborhood. During the festival, the Lavender Robotics team provided information about the FTC and FRC competitions they participated in and the FIRST Foundation, the organizer of these competitions based in America, which is a partner in Turkey through the Fikret Yüksel Foundation. Robot demonstrations, especially among young people and technology enthusiasts, received great interest. Participants had the opportunity to closely examine the robots developed by the Lavender Robotics Team, BY Tech, and Front Runners teams, and get detailed information from team members. Workshop booths appealed to visitors of all ages who wanted to improve their knowledge and skills. Among the guests were Salihli Mayor Mazlum Nurlu, Salihli Chamber of Commerce board, Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Projects Responsible Akın Bozacı, Salihli Borsa Istanbul Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, Fen Bilimleri Schools, Bilim Yunusemre, Yunusemere DENEYAP, 25605BY Tech FTC team, Salihli Sardes Chess Education Center, Disabled Association, Salihli Photography Association, TEMA, Salihli Environmental Association, 25187 Front Runners FTC Team, and Atatürkist Thought Association stands. The host of the event, the Lavender Robotics team, had the opportunity to exhibit the FTC and FRC robots that brought success to the team internationally, especially to Salihli Mayor Mazlum Nurlu, and to the visitors. Impressed by the exhibited FTC and FRC robots of the Lavender Robotics Team, Mazlum Nurlu used the robots in the event area and wished success to the Lavender Robotics team. The technology festival, which started with motivating speeches by Akın Bozacı at the event organized with the contributions of Salihli Municipality under the leadership of Lavender Robotics, ended with the enchanting performances of Grup Mortiz and Grup Bohem.
