Political tradition found its place in Kağıthane this holiday as well

Politicians in Kağıthane came together for a festive program of love and solidarity hosted by the Mayor of Kağıthane, Mevlüt Öztekin, reflecting the colorful aspect of politics in Kağıthane.
As the Local Elections held on March 31st were left behind and Eid al-Adha approached, the colorful side of politics in Kağıthane became apparent. Just like every Eid, politicians from Kağıthane gathered at the Eid program hosted by Mayor Mevlüt Öztekin.
The Eid program was attended by the AK Party District Chairman of Kağıthane, Serkan Cantürk, the Deputy District Chairman of MHP, Serkan Yıldız, the District Chairman of CHP, Cihan İlim Yeşildağ, the District Chairman of BBP, Cengizhan Topçu, the District Chairman of YRP, Muhsin Çift, the Deputy District Chairman of İYİ Party, Hasan Şimşek, the District Chairman of HÜDAPAR, Enes Karakaya, the District Chairman of SP, Halid Özgür Atak, and the District Chairman of BTP, Feridun Akbay. Politicians who could not attend the program due to being out of town also conveyed their goodwill and solidarity wishes.
Kağıthane Mayor Mevlüt Öztekin thanked each politician separately for attending the Eid program. Mayor Öztekin said, ‘Today is a day of Eid where our feelings of unity and togetherness are experienced most intensely, a day where love and tolerance are engraved in our hearts. During the election process, we may have displayed different views and approaches. However, today is the time to come together, work hand in hand, and cooperate for our city. Our common goal is to make our district a more beautiful, livable, and peaceful place. Regardless of our duties, we must work for the peace and happiness of every individual living in this beautiful city we serve. By considering our differences as richness and coming together on common ground, we can form a union of strength. By working together, we can sign projects that will advance our district and provide the best service to our people. May our Eid be blessed, and may our affection endure.’
Later, Kağıthane Mayor Mevlüt Öztekin participated in the Eid program organized by the AK Party’s provincial and district branches, where he exchanged Eid greetings with party members. Mayor Öztekin, emphasizing that under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Turkey is confidently preparing for the new century, stated that they are also preparing Kağıthane for the future with the same determination.
