Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality’s ‘Metropolitan Bulletin’, which is regularly prepared and digitally presented to the citizens, has been published with its 60th issue in the new period. The Metropolitan Municipality of Kayseri has published the 60th issue of the periodical publication ‘Metropolitan Municipality City Bulletin’ on its official website in digital platform since 2010. Thanks to the City Bulletin, which citizens can access from their mobile phones, tablets, and computers, citizens can easily and quickly follow the services provided by the Metropolitan Municipality and the projects it has implemented. The Metropolitan Municipality City Bulletin, reaching the citizens through the digital platform with its 60th issue, met with its readers with the headline ‘President Buyukkilic’s High-Speed Train Inspection’. The bulletin included not only the Metropolitan Municipality’s useful and important investments but also projects to be carried out in the next 5 years and current developments. In his editorial of the Metropolitan Bulletin, Kayseri Metropolitan Mayor Dr. Memduh Buyukkilic emphasized that they will serve Kayseri in the new period within the culture of harmony, stating the following: ‘We have completed another Local Government Elections in Kayseri as in all of Turkey. I would like to emphasize that we will continue our diligent work with the understanding of harmony in the new period along with our 16 district municipalities, wishing that the elections, where the preferences of our citizens are reflected, will be auspicious, fortunate, and prosperous for our city. Kayseri, with its rich and diverse culture from ancient times, has shown and will continue to show its harmonious, entrepreneurial, appreciative, and productive attitude in this period as well. There should be no doubt that we will continue our well-intentioned efforts with the understanding that goodness spreads through effort and evil spreads through neglect. We will walk confidently towards the goals of becoming a resilient city and showing sensitivity to the environment, from transportation to tourism, from people-oriented social projects in the new 5-year period.’ Mayor Buyukkilic drew attention to the fact that Kayseri is rapidly progressing towards becoming a safer, more practical, and comfortable city, saying, ‘With the initiatives of our government, serious efforts have begun and continue at a great pace to integrate our city with the High-Speed Train Line in 2027-2028, especially to Ankara, Istanbul, and other cities. On the other hand, as the Metropolitan Municipality of Kayseri, we held an evaluation meeting with all stakeholders in our city for the Kartal Interchange project, which is almost a turning point in urban transportation, based on the authority we received from our citizens and the demands we received from them, and we rolled up our sleeves to implement the project. With the vision of being an accessible city, we are strengthening and diversifying both our urban and interurban transportation infrastructure. Kayseri is now rapidly progressing towards becoming a safer, more practical, and comfortable city, better integrated with its country through HST. With this intention, effort, and goals, we say no to stopping and continue to run for a better Kayseri.’ The 60th issue of the City Bulletin featured many projects and initiatives, especially in transportation and human-focused areas.
