İzmir Metropolitan Municipality municipal teams continued their work throughout the city during the Feast of Sacrifice. In order for citizens to spend the holiday in peace and security, teams frequently inspected sacrificial areas, cemeteries, main streets, squares, boulevards, and picnic areas in the city. Prior to the holiday, the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Municipal Directorate intensified its inspections to ensure peace and security during the Feast of Sacrifice, and continued to work tirelessly throughout the holiday. Teams conducted inspections primarily at sacrificial areas, cemeteries, busy streets, squares, boulevards, Kültürpark, picnic areas, and coastal areas.Sacrificial areas were organizedTeams working in Karabağlar, Gaziemir, Doğançay, and Işıkkent to maintain order at sacrificial areas intervened in the traffic congestion in these areas. Municipal teams took necessary measures for citizens to visit cemeteries peacefully. Assistance was provided to elderly and disabled citizens at Kokluca, Paşaköprü, and Kaynaklar cemeteries to board vehicles allocated by the Metropolitan Municipality.Strict control in busy streets and beaches of the cityTeams patrolled Karşıyaka, Bayraklı, Narlıdere, İnciraltı, Fevzipaşa, İnönü, and Mithatpaşa streets, as well as Hasanağa Garden, city forests, recreational areas, and coastal strips, informing citizens not to light a barbecue outside designated areas in picnic areas and not to litter the environment. Especially in areas with decorative pools, the teams ensured the safety of children. Street vendors were inspected, and goods were confiscated. Necessary measures were taken to ensure the security of Kültürpark, and individuals causing disturbances were removed from the area. Municipal Traffic teams also conducted inspections in taxis and minibuses. Two minibus owners were fined for operating with the door open without turning on the air conditioning. Tourists arriving in the city by cruise ship were welcomed and informed by Tourism Municipal teams.
