CHP Kayseri Provincial Vice President Aslanhan stated, ‘From now on, we will put more effort in the upcoming elections.’

The Republican People’s Party (CHP) Kayseri Organization came together at the Eid celebration event. CHP Kayseri Deputy Provincial Chairman Lütfi Aslanhan said, ‘We will continue to strive harder in the upcoming elections.’

The Eid celebration event held at the CHP Kayseri Provincial Building was attended by CHP Kayseri Deputy Provincial Chairman Lütfi Aslanhan, provincial administration, council members, and party members. Speaking at the event, CHP Kayseri Deputy Provincial Chairman Lütfi Aslanhan mentioned that they had left behind the March 31 elections. In the March 31 elections, CHP emerged as the leading party locally. Nationally, we received around 37.8% of the votes. As a party in power locally, we ensured our CHP colleagues took office as mayors in a total of 316 locations, including 14 metropolitan cities, 21 cities, 337 districts, and 42 towns. This is a significant success and a herald of a change in power. This was achieved through unity and solidarity. Politics is the art of winning people over. Politics is about belief. Success comes from belief, and this success was achieved together. Is it enough? Of course not. In the upcoming elections, we will work even harder. In Kayseri, where we had no municipalities before, we now have 4 municipalities: Akkışla, Felahiye, Pınarbaşı, and Sarız. The elections, especially the ones held in Pınarbaşı on June 2, were highly competitive. Despite the AK Party and MHP using all state resources against us, we, through unity and solidarity, managed to re-elect our previously elected mayor from the March 31 elections. The June 2 elections are as crucial as winning the metropolitan municipality. This is a success for all of us.’

Aslanhan, who stated ‘We will win at least 8 municipalities in the 2029 elections,’ continued by saying, ‘The 4 municipalities we won in Kayseri will show us examples of how to run a people-oriented and social municipality. These will be examples for the upcoming elections. By 2028 or even earlier, I can easily say to you that a candidate from the CHP will win the presidential election and take office as the President. Again, by 2028 or earlier, we will have the majority of CHP members in the Grand National Assembly without any alliances. In the first parliamentary elections, we will have at least 5 deputies from Kayseri. In the 2029 municipal elections, we will win at least 8 municipalities by building on the 4 municipalities we currently have.’
