TFF announced the team spending limits for the 2024-2025 season of the clubs in the Trendyol Super League. Galatasaray became the club with the highest spending limit with 3 billion 437 million 333 thousand 278 TL, including a 30 percent deviation. The Turkish Football Federation Club Licensing Board determined the 2024-2025 Season Super League Team Spending Limits at its meeting on June 19, 2024. Galatasaray, who completed the 2023-2024 season as champions, had their spending limit for the new season set at 3 billion 437 million 333 thousand 278 TL. Fenerbahçe was allocated a spending limit of 3 billion 285 million 79 thousand 836 TL, Trabzonspor 1 billion 899 million 243 thousand 96 TL, and Beşiktaş 1 billion 869 million 822 thousand 515 TL by the Board. In the official statement made on the TFF’s official website regarding the matter, it was stated that ‘As specified in Annex XIII F of the Club Licensing and Financial Sustainability Directive, the spending limits of professional football teams of clubs that did not participate in the Super League in the T season will be calculated as the average of the Team Spending Limits approved for the T+1 season for clubs that finished the Super League in ranks 7-15 (excluding the team with the highest and lowest spending amount). As specified in Annex XIII G of the Club Licensing and Financial Sustainability Directive, the team spending limits set for clubs can be increased by the Club Licensing Board upon applications to be made by December 15 and applications to be made by the end of the last day of both transfer and registration periods until 18.00.’
