Recep Tayyip Erdogan National Garden, brought to the city by Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, has become a popular destination for the citizens. The National Garden, which covers a total area of 1,260,000 square meters and is the largest national garden opened in Turkey, was implemented in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Housing Development Administration of Turkey (TOKI) and Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, has been attracting crowds since its opening day. Especially appealing to the youth, the national garden hosts various sports and social activities. Young people engage in sports such as football, volleyball, tennis, and basketball in the sports facilities, while some perform mini shows on bikes and skates on the tracks. A young man named Muhammed Karacabey, expressing that he lives in Kayseri, stated, ‘We love the National Garden, it has very nice and fun places, time passes very nicely here. The sports activities and walking paths are very nice, whoever did this, well done.’ Yiğitcan Şahin mentioned that he is here with his friends every day, emphasizing that such a project is the first of its kind in Kayseri, and thanked those who contributed. Samet Çetin pointed out that a very nice social community has formed in Recep Tayyip Erdogan National Garden, stating that it has become a gathering place for both us and the youth, adding that it is a great place to socialize and get fresh air. Semih Doğan emphasized that the National Garden is a place that Kayseri needs and thanked the Metropolitan Municipality. Young visitor Mert Çavdaroğlu expressed, ‘I am very happy that this place was built, the lake here is very beautiful, we thank those who built it.’
