Israel was protested with the writing on the traffic lights

Protest against Israel was made by sticking labels with ‘Killer Israel’ on the red light and ‘Free Jerusalem’ on the green light of traffic lights in places where traffic is heavy in Karaman. Reactions from all over Turkey continue to come in response to Israel’s attacks, which have turned into genocide against the Palestinian people and are increasing day by day. In Karaman, Israel was protested by sticking labels saying ‘Killer Israel and Free Jerusalem’ on traffic lights. Drivers who noticed the labels also appreciated this awareness-raising initiative.

‘It’s a good initiative’
Ali İhsan Kutbay, who noticed the ‘Killer Israel’ writing on the traffic lights, said, ‘It’s a good initiative to make everyone see the killings of Killer Israel. I congratulate those who implemented this practice.’

‘We were hoping someone would do it here’
Mehmet Akif Aktaş, who did not expect such an initiative in Karaman, said, ‘It’s a very good initiative, I congratulate the thinkers. We used to see such initiatives mostly in big cities, but I did not expect something like this in Karaman. We were hoping someone would do it here. Those someones did it, may God bless them. I wish it was on all lights so that it would attract more attention of people.’

Driver Samet Balar, who noticed the writing on the traffic light upon the journalist’s question, said, ‘The initiative taken is a correct stance, but this stance should be through political moves, not by writing on the red light. We cannot achieve anything by writing on the light, but when we see that red light, it reminds us of the oppression happening there.’
