Ihlas Foundation conducted sacrificial slaughter and distribution organization by proxy in 5 countries. Mahmut Kemal Aydın, the Chairman of the Ihlas Foundation Board of Trustees, provided information about the work done.
Mahmut Kemal Aydın, the Chairman of the Ihlas Foundation Board of Trustees, made statements to Ihlas News Agency regarding the sacrificial slaughter and distribution organizations by proxy carried out abroad in 5 countries.
Firstly, Aydın congratulated our noble nation, the Turkish Islamic world, and our donors on the Feast of Sacrifice, and prayed to Allah for a peaceful and serene holiday.
Aydın stated, “We were very meticulous in the purchase, slaughter, and distribution of sacrificial animals. We selected animals that had reached the age of two, met the qualifications for sacrifice, slaughtered them, and distributed the meat.”
Providing information about the sacrificial slaughters, Aydın said, “We sent 15 of our friends who were general proxies for the sacrifice to 5 countries. These countries are Somalia, Chad, Uganda, Afghanistan, and India. Our friends who went to these countries meticulously purchased the animals on behalf of the proxy donors. Then, they appointed the butcher by reading the names of the proxy owners one by one, and the butcher accepted by saying ‘I have received and accepted’ while reciting the takbir and ‘Bismillah Allahu Akbar’ before slaughtering the sacrifices.”
Regarding the distribution of sacrificial meat, Mahmut Kemal Aydın said, “We distribute the sacrificial meats to orphanages abroad. For example, we distribute them to schools teaching the Quran and to those in need in various countries in Africa. Similarly, we have educational complexes in Afghanistan. We distribute the sacrificial meats to students studying in these complexes and their families. In India, we distribute them to the poor, needy, and madrasas in the surrounding areas.”
Aydın concluded by saying, “The names of all the proxy owners who donated their sacrifice proxies to the foundation were read. We will send the video recording of the moment when the proxy was given to the butcher and the sacrifice was made to our donors via WhatsApp within a week after the holiday.
