President Ekinci: ‘We are willing to support and manage Bozokspor with Yozgat Municipality’

Sorgun Mayor Mustafa Erkut Ekinci announced that they are willing to take over Yozgat Belediyesi Bozokspor, which has been promoted to TFF 3rd League. Mayor Ekinci stated that they will not leave Yozgat’s team without support.
Last season, Yozgat Belediyesi Bozokspor, who finished as the champion of Regional Amateur League Group 11 and got promoted to the 3rd League, is in a silent waiting period. Sorgun Mayor Mustafa Erkut Ekinci has put an end to the anticipation of Yozgat sports community regarding the future of Yozgat Belediyesi Bozokspor. Mayor Ekinci stated that Sorgun Municipality will support the red-black team.

“There is a management vacuum”
Mayor Ekinci expressed that no one has taken the initiative to manage Yozgat Belediyesi Bozokspor, stating, “Yozgat Belediyesi Bozokspor got promoted to the 3rd League in the previous period. We, like every citizen of Yozgat, felt the pride and joy of this achievement. The previous Yozgat Mayor Celal Köse also had a significant contribution to this success. However, at this point, there is a management vacuum even though we have been following from a distance. No one wants to take the responsibility for managing a team that has been promoted to the 3rd League, Yozgat Belediyesi Bozokspor.”

“No need for fear or concern”
Mayor Ekinci also mentioned that Sorgun Municipality is ready to take over the management of Yozgat Belediyesi Bozokspor, saying, “We will do whatever is necessary, let them hand over the management to us. We will support Yozgat’s team. The team of Yozgat will not be left without support. I announce to the relevant parties that we are willing to manage Yozgat Belediyesi Bozokspor. We will be involved in this struggle and do our best to take it to better places. There is no need for fear, concern, or stepping aside. I also declare to Yozgat from here, let’s not leave Yozgat’s team without support.”
