The Gebze Barrier-Free Life Center, designed by the Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality to enable individuals with disabilities to socialize and take a more active role in life, is rapidly rising in the Gebze National Garden. A progress of 62 percent has been achieved in the ongoing project under the Building Control Department. Intensive work continues at a fast pace to put the building into service as soon as possible. Built on 6,751 square meters of land with 2 floors above the basement and ground floor, the structure will enable disabled individuals to participate in social activities.
