‘Forest of Hope’ in Kilis by Şişli Municipality

3,000 seedlings were donated to the ‘Forest of Hope’ in Kilis by the Şişli Municipality on behalf of municipal employees. Speaking about the donation, Şişli Mayor Resul Emrah Şahan said, ‘With this donation bearing the names of all our colleagues, we are creating a huge forest. This forest, named ‘Hope’, will provide our country with oxygen for hundreds of years.’ Şişli Municipality, in cooperation with the TEMA Foundation, signed an exemplary project for the preservation of natural life and the increase of green areas. Under the leadership of Şişli Mayor Resul Emrah Şahan, 3,000 seedlings were donated to the Forest of Hope in Kilis on behalf of all personnel during the Eid al-Adha. The foundation presented a Donation Certificate to Mayor Resul Emrah Şahan for the seedling donation, and the 3,000 seedlings will meet the soil in the Forest of Hope starting from September. Furthermore, Şişli Municipality, aiming to increase environmental awareness and build a greener future, will continue its efforts to support environmental sustainability projects without slowing down.
