Electrician Bayram Ali Deniz, a 23-year-old living in the district of Araklı in Trabzon, does not get affected by the heat and humidity while working with the propeller device he placed on his hat. Trying to cool off with a fan developed on his hat to protect himself from extreme heat, Deniz stated that he first designed the cooling device on the table and then on his hat. Deniz said, ‘I had to drop out of school after middle school because I needed to earn money. However, I have always been interested in these kinds of works since my childhood. At home, I used to tinker a lot with cars, irons, trying to create things. By constantly working on things, my hands got more skilled, and my brain capacity increased. I had opened a shop, and when I felt hot, I thought of making a fan on the table. I said to myself, ‘it stays on the head of a person standing on the table,’ and I developed it. People around here get overwhelmed by the heat while working in the fields picking tea or hazelnuts. In fact, after seeing the cooling system I made on social media, people started to place orders. I made this without researching anywhere, I was inspired at that moment. I first designed it on the table and then applied it to my hat. I placed the motor on the hat and used cables. It works with a power bank. When fully charged, it works for about 2-3 hours. You can turn it on and off depending on the situation.’ Serkan Deniz, a relative who saw the cooling system made by Bayram Ali Deniz, said, ‘He made a very nice system. I have never come across such a thing before. We placed an order, hopefully, he will make one for me too.’
