Bahçelievler Municipality Licensing Inspection and Municipal Police Directorate teams conducted hygiene inspections on dessert workshops shortly before the Eid al-Adha. The inspections were carried out considering the increase in production quantities due to the holiday so that citizens could access food products produced in a healthier and more hygienic environment. During the inspections, the businesses’ licenses, compliance of employees with production rules, whether they passed periodic health checks, cleanliness of production areas, as well as the Business Registration Certificate obtained from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry were checked. As a result of the inspections, out of a total of 82 businesses, 9 were given a 15-day legal warning period to rectify their deficiencies, while 3 businesses were sealed off from production.
