Erzurum Technical University Rector Çakmak thanks champion athletes

At the Turkey University Kickboxing Championship, Sport Toto Turkey Kickboxing Championship, and Turkish Open World Kickboxing Cup, the athletes who became champions and achieved rankings, as well as the team leaders and coaches, were presented with certificates of appreciation by the Rector of ETU, Prof. Dr. Çakmak. The athletes won the team championship in the ‘Kick Light Men’ category and achieved 3rd place in the ‘Full Contact Women’ category as a team. At the Turkey University Kickboxing Championship, the athletes who achieved success were Vedat Ağyürek – ‘Turkey Championship’ in men’s 69 kg category, Ebru Yakar – ‘Turkey Championship’ in women’s 60 kg category, Can Ahmet Bağlar – ‘Turkey Championship’ in men’s 63 kg category, Gökdeniz Yağar – ‘Turkey Championship’ in men’s 67 kg category, Hakan Koç – ‘Turkey Championship’ in men’s 84 kg category, Muhammed Enes Yanmaz – ‘3rd place in Turkey’ in men’s 74 kg category, Furkan Daşdemir – ‘3rd place in Turkey’ in men’s 94 kg category, Melisa Yıldırım – ‘3rd place in Turkey’ in women’s 60 kg category. Additionally, from the ETU Sports Club, Shiva Narımanpanahrad achieved ‘World Cup Championship’ in the women’s 65 kg category at the Turkish Open World Kickboxing Cup, and Ebru Yakar secured ‘3rd place in Turkey’ in the women’s 60 kg category at the Sport Toto Turkey Kickboxing Championship. Among the ETU faculty members, Dr. Research Assistant Cebrail Gençoğlu became the ‘Team Leader’, while Emre Şahin became the ‘Coach’ and received certificates of appreciation from Rector Prof. Dr. Çakmak. Rector Çakmak congratulated the athletes and wished them continued success and progress.
