Selçuk Bayraktar shared: Kemankeş cruise missile successfully completed another test

The mini smart cruise missile Kemankeş developed by Baykar has successfully completed its second system verification test. Baykar’s Chairman of the Board Selçuk Bayraktar shared the footage of the test on his social media account. Tests of high-tech unmanned systems developed by Baykar are continuing successfully. The test process of Kemankeş 2 Mini Smart Cruise Missile at Baykar Flight Training and Test Center in Keşan district of Edirne is also being carried out successfully. The second system verification test carried out within the test schedule has been successfully completed. The mini smart cruise missile, which can stay in the air for about 1 hour, can swiftly advance thanks to its jet engine, effectively targeting the most risky targets behind enemy lines. With a mission range of 200+ kilometers, Kemankeş 2 will be capable of accurately destroying its target even in challenging weather conditions through its artificial intelligence-supported optical guidance system. By conducting autonomous flights with its artificial intelligence-supported autopilot system, it will change the balances on the battlefield by effectively neutralizing strategic targets with high precision. Kemankeş 2, which can be used in both night and day conditions, will be able to perform its mission without being affected by electronic jamming thanks to its anti-jamming technology. It will transmit all data and images to the ground control station, providing support to the user in data tracking. Showcased for the first time at Teknofest, the first version of the mini smart cruise missile developed nationally and indigenously by Baykar, Kemankeş 1, was publicly displayed for the first time at TEKNOFEST 2023 held at Atatürk Airport from April 27 to May 1. The first firing test was successfully conducted on June 14, 2023, launched from the Bayraktar TB2 UAV.
