Under the auspices of the Governorship of Ağrı, a graduation ceremony was organized for the successful participants of the literacy course opened within the scope of the ‘Mother Academy Project’, coordinated by the Provincial Directorate of National Education. The ceremony took place at the Public Education Center hall and was attended by Neslihan Gül Koç, the wife of Governor Mustafa Koç, Hasan Kökrek, the Provincial Director of National Education, Beste İpar, the wife of the Provincial Police Chief Yılmaz İpar, branch director Selahattin Bilgiç, and the course participants. The program started with a moment of silence and the national anthem, followed by a poetry recital prepared by students from Şinasi Ünsal Kız Anatolian Imam Hatip High School and Şemsi Türkmen Anatolian High School. The students recited poems from ancient Turkish poets during the program, which then continued with a music recital prepared by music teachers. At the end of the program, the female participant who successfully completed the literacy course under the ‘Mother Academy’ project attended the graduation ceremony for the first time in graduation attire. Certificates were presented to 120 women who graduated within the project by the participants. Additionally, a girl student who was brought to school as part of the ‘My School Waits for Me’ project surprised Governor Mustafa Koç’s wife, Neslihan Gül Koç, and Hasan Kökrek, the Provincial Director of National Education, by thanking them and presenting gifts prepared for them. Neslihan Gül Koç, the wife of Governor Mustafa Koç, congratulated the graduating women in her speech by stating, ‘Each of our mothers not only learned to read and write within this project but also increased their self-confidence. In this respect, I would like to thank everyone who contributed to and supported this project.’ Hasan Kökrek, the Provincial Director of National Education, expressed his joy at presenting certificates to Ağrı mothers and parents who successfully completed various courses, including literacy, within the Mother Academy project, and watching this beautiful poetry and music recital program with them. He congratulated everyone involved and congratulated the mothers. The program concluded with a group photo shoot.
