The Mayor of Battalgazi Municipality, Bayram Taşkın, met with the tradesmen around Eskimalatya Square to listen to their suggestions and demands. Continuing to directly communicate with tradesmen and citizens at different points of the district, Mayor Bayram Taşkın visited the tradesmen around Eskimalatya Square, chatting with them and listening to their demands. During his visit, Mayor Taşkın conducted inspections around Eskimalatya Square and its surroundings, stating, ‘We will continue our efforts to make our square and its surroundings an important center.’ Emphasizing the importance of exchanging ideas in order to effectively deliver the services of the municipality with a participatory approach, Mayor Bayram Taşkın said, ‘We are aware of how important our tradesmen are in the cultural and economic life of our city and society. The streets of our Eskimalatya bear the traces of our old masters, small shops, and handcrafted products. These traces are the elements that shape the character of our city and remind us of who we are. We stand by our tradesmen who keep our culture alive; we take into account their requests and suggestions. We attach importance to consultation for every project and work to be done in Battalgazi. Hopefully, we will solve the problems faced by the tradesmen around our square as soon as possible. We will take the necessary steps to revive our local economy. We want this place to become an important center in its region with its square, bazaar, and facilities. We will continue our efforts to preserve our historical fabric and pass it on to future generations. Our goal is to serve our fellow citizens in every field by managing our district with common sense. We will build the future with the legacy of the past.’
