Gönül Kültürhanesi has been opened for service

Denizli Gönül Cultural Center, implemented with the support of the Ministry of Interior in Denizli, was inaugurated by the Deputy Mayor of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality, Ali Marım.

Speaking at the opening in the association building’s garden, Gönül Köprüsü President Nergis Şenocak said, ‘Welcome everyone. Today, we are opening the approved project of our Gönül Cultural Center at Gönül Office, which is a project of our association supported by the Ministry of Interior. We will organize many cultural activities here. We will have outdoor movie screenings, various meetings, and hold them in our tent. There will be Turkish folk music and choir music performances. We invite you to participate in these performances, we believe it will be very enjoyable.’

Thanks and call for participation
Şenocak, in her speech, thanked the participants, saying, ‘I thank you all for attending and coming, bless your feet. Hopefully, it will be good for all of us. The target audience here is disadvantaged groups and women who have not left their homes. Today, they all have work and are not among us because the schools have closed. They will come here later in the day to join the conversation. I thank those who have already come and wish it to be good for all of us.’

Marım, ‘Great efforts are being presented’
Deputy Mayor of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality, Ali Marım, emphasized the importance of the project in his speech, saying, ‘We are really together on a very important issue for Denizli. We see what people can do together, the efforts of voluntary individuals who are not expecting anything, just to be beneficial to society and people. These voluntary works are carried out during the day, and very beautiful events and works are presented. I have closely witnessed these works. I am happy to be in this new venue today. Open-air theaters have been missing in Denizli for years. The lack of activities such as garden cinemas and conversations was felt. It is very important for all of us that these activities are held here, for our people to spend time together in solidarity both socially and culturally, to serve and be served.’

Thanks to Gönül Köprüsü
Marım thanked Gönül Köprüsü, saying, ‘I thank everyone who works on this issue, contributes to Gönül Köprüsü, and says ‘I am also present socially’. Thank you for being here, thank you for voluntarily working to guide society. May it be good and auspicious.’

As part of the Gönül Cultural Center project, activities such as outdoor movie screenings, meetings, and music performances will be held. The target audience of the project includes disadvantaged groups and women who have not left their homes. The project aims to increase their participation in social life and support them. Activities and events will be organized in accordance with the needs of this target audience.
