The Traditional Children’s Games, organized for the first time in Sarıgöl, have been completed
The ‘Traditional Children’s Games’ event, organized for the first time in Sarıgöl by the Sarıgöl District National Education Directorate, was successfully completed with a high level of participation. A total of 541 students from 17 primary schools in the district participated in the Traditional Children’s Games competitions held for the first time in Sarıgöl.

The ‘Traditional Children’s Games’ event, organized for the first time in Sarıgöl by the Sarıgöl District National Education Directorate, was completed with a high participation rate. In the Traditional Children’s Games competitions held for the first time in Sarıgöl, 541 students and 50 teams from 17 primary schools in the district participated, while a thousand students had the opportunity to play games throughout the competitions. At the end of the evaluation: For the game of ‘Mangala’, the third place went to Bağlıca Halil Duran Primary School, the second place to Karacaali Primary School, and the first place to Dadağlı Primary School. For the game of ‘Mendil Kapmaca’, the third place went to Şehit Esin Akay Primary School, the second place to Dört Eylül Primary School, and the first place to Mimar Sinan Primary School. For the game of ‘Kaleli Yakan Top’, the third place went to Dört Eylül Primary School, the second place to Mimar Sinan Primary School, and the first place to Çanakçı Primary School. And for the game of ‘Tombik’, the third place went to Ahmetağa Neslihan Urgancı Primary School, the second place to Şehit Esin Akay Primary School, and the first place to Dört Eylül Primary School. The trophies and medals to the winning students were presented by the District National Education Director Cezmi Yıldırak and the District National Education Branch Manager Yüksel Kanyılmaz. During the medal and trophy ceremony, Sarıgöl District National Education Director Cezmi Yıldırak made a speech, saying, ‘We organized an event for traditional children’s games for the first time this year in Sarıgöl. This event received great interest and will continue next year. I thank my colleagues who were involved in and volunteered for traditional children’s games, the game referees, school principals and vice principals, guidance counselors, R&D team members, teachers, and the students who participated in the games.’
