The first vocational school accredited by İLEDAK in Turkey
A first in the history of vocational schools in Turkey has occurred. Four programs of Istanbul Beykent University Vocational School have been accredited by the Board of Communication and Evaluation (İLEDAK). For the first time in Turkey, a vocational school has been accredited by İLEDAK.

A first in the history of vocational schools in Turkey has occurred. Four programs of Istanbul Beykent University Vocational School have been accredited by the Board of Communication and Evaluation (İLEDAK).
For the first time in Turkey, a vocational school has become the holder of İLEDAK accreditation. Speaking about the development, which is considered a significant step towards improving the quality standards of vocational schools and gaining international recognition, the Director of the Vocational School, Dr. Gülşah Gencer Çelik, stated, ‘Accreditation in higher education demonstrates that educational institutions meet certain quality standards and commit to continuous improvement. The accreditation of our Radio Television Programming Program for both the first and second terms, as well as the Graphic Design Program for both the first and second terms, is a result of the quality of education and our efforts.’
‘We have increased the number of accredited programs to 7’
Dr. Gülşah Gencer Çelik continued her speech as follows: ‘Thanks to accreditation, students will have the opportunity to receive higher quality education, graduates will be more accepted in the business world, and they will be more competitive internationally. With the Tourism and Travel Services Program and the Culinary Arts Program for both the first and second terms previously accredited by TURAK, we have increased our number of accredited programs to 7. With this success, I believe that Istanbul Beykent University Vocational School will set an example for other vocational schools in Turkey and contribute to raising the quality standards.’
