Infrastructure boom in Karabiga

Karabiga Mayor Ahmet Elbi stated that they saved Karabiga’s 70 years by completely changing the infrastructure works with asbestos pipes, insufficient sewerage, and water lines in Karabiga District. Mayor Elbi also mentioned that 5,000 square meters of stones were laid in superstructure works in areas where infrastructure works were completed. Elbi said, ‘Just as we worked with love and enthusiasm for Karabiga 5 years ago, we will continue to work for Karabiga in the same way. Our slogan was not something said just for the sake of it. We work not for the next elections, but for the future generations. We will continue in this way hopefully in the next 5 years.’
Ahmet Elbi, who was re-elected as Mayor from the AK Party in the 31st Local Government Elections in Karabiga town connected to Biga district, started work after the election. Significant progress has also been made in infrastructure and superstructure works in the town, which has natural gas in recent years. In Karabiga town with a blue flag beach attracting the attention of many local and foreign tourists in the summer months, Mayor Ahmet Elbi stated that they saved Karabiga’s 70 years by completely changing the infrastructure works with asbestos pipes, insufficient sewerage, and water lines. In areas where infrastructure works were completed in the town, 5,000 square meters of stones were laid in superstructure works.
Mayor Ahmet Elbi, stating that they continue to work for Karabiga, said, ‘In the last 5-year period, we entered into a comprehensive infrastructure with 50% grant partnership with the Provincial Bank. With that infrastructure, we saved the next 70 years of Karabiga. We have provided natural gas service, which is very important for Karabiga, in addition to completely changing asbestos pipes, inadequate sewerage, and water lines. Natural gas is completely finished, but we are at around 85% in infrastructure. We started laying stones in our superstructure in the completed areas. We have laid 5,000 square meters of stones since the election until now. We will rapidly continue these works in areas where infrastructure is completed. In June, we have a new beach area that is used very frequently. Due to excessive dust complaints on the road coming from the beach area to Karabiga, we will also make asphalt covering here. Let’s give the good news to our Karabiga citizens from here. Our works are progressing rapidly. We are in an effort to serve with the same determination. We thank our voters for trusting us again and re-electing us. They can be sure that we will not disappoint them. Just as we worked with love and enthusiasm for Karabiga 5 years ago, we will continue to work for Karabiga in the same way. Our slogan was not something said just for the sake of it.
