Bodrum Municipality, on the other hand, stated that they will switch to a double shift system for cleaning waste in the vicinity on a 24-hour basis. The security level in Bodrum will be increased to the highest level throughout the holiday.

President of Bodrum Hoteliers Association, Omer Faruk Dengiz, expressed the possibility of people without reservations being stranded at the door, stating that ‘Currently, holiday reservations in hotels have reached 85%. Due to the intensity, there will be traffic disruptions, beaches will be crowded, rooms in hotels will be filling up, so our guests should make reservations in advance and come to Bodrum without being victims. Those who want to make last-minute holiday plans and come to Bodrum may face difficulties. Since more people will come to Bodrum beyond its capacity, there may be problems.’

Tourism professional Ilker Adas expressed that it will be a busy holiday period, saying ‘As in every holiday period, we are expecting a busy guest traffic this holiday as well. We estimate that we will have approximately 1 million guests in Bodrum. Especially due to the Feast of Sacrifice, we expect a high number of Turkish guests. Due to the holiday, there are no empty rooms in our facility. This makes us very happy.’
