HobiFest 2024 was full of excitement

The ‘HobiFest 2024’ organized by Antalya Metropolitan Municipality brought hobby enthusiasts together and offered a fun-filled weekend to the people of Antalya. ‘HobiFest 2024’, where 70 hobby clubs participated, ended with colorful visuals and a magnificent concert.

Turkey’s first and only hobby festival organized by Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, ‘HobiFest 2024’, took place with great enthusiasm at the Glass Pyramid area.

The festival, which brings together thousands of hobby and adventure enthusiasts every year, hosted a variety of colorful events for 2 days. From nature sports clubs to off-road clubs, search and rescue teams to classic car clubs, participants introduced their activities through events, providing citizens with different experiences. Antalya residents of all ages took advantage of Sunday and had an enjoyable weekend with the colorful and exciting activities of the festival.

Competitions were held

At the festival where many activities related to motorcycles, bicycles, mountaineering, water sports, tennis, nature, and adventure sports were organized, a drone racing show was held. Bicycle races such as slow riding and balance, archery competitions, and Enduro Motor Sports Club provided children with motocross riding training. The show of Jandarma Search and Rescue dogs was watched with admiration as the Jandarma dogs successfully followed the commands and became the center of attention for visitors of the festival.

Participants were presented with plaques

Deputy Secretary General of Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, Mustafa Gürbüz, also visited the festival area. Mustafa Gürbüz visited each hobby club, gathered information about their activities, and presented plaques to the hobby clubs for their participation.

Closing with a concert

On the last day of HobiFest 2024, it hosted dance shows and concerts. At the closing of the festival, Ismail Baha Surelsan Conservatory Young Stage Concert, Dance Of Life Folk Dance show by VoSahne, and Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Band and City Orchestra gave concerts. Antalyans, who filled the stage area set up at the Glass Pyramid, enjoyed themselves to the fullest by singing along with the songs performed by VoSahne.
