A total of 149 students studying at Sinop University Türkeli Vocational School experienced the excitement of graduation. The graduation program held at Türkeli Huzur Dincel Stadium started with a parade. During the procession, students greeted protocol members and parents, while participants accompanied the graduating students with applause, sharing the joy of graduation. Speaking at the program, the Rector of Sinop University, Prof. Dr. Şakir Taşdemir, stated, ‘Under the leadership of our esteemed Türkeli Mayor and District Governor, the search for a new campus for the vocational school has begun with the active participation of all city components. I find this effort very valuable. Our vocational school, which started education in 2019 with the child protection and care services and home care programs, has reached 3 programs with the opening of the emergency and disaster management program in 2021. Today, we are both happy and proud; we are experiencing the excitement of graduating 149 of our 377 students with honor, bidding farewell to our youth, and the pride and happiness of contributing to our country.’ Speaking on behalf of all students, the first-ranked student of Türkeli Vocational School, Child Protection and Care Services Program Graduate, Özge Kaya, said, ‘One of the most important lessons I learned in this process is the power of teamwork and collaboration. The projects and fieldwork we carried out together with my classmates showed how important it is to work together, support each other, and progress towards common goals. These experiences will guide me in my professional life and will remain as valuable memories that I will always remember.’ The ceremony was attended by Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Muhittin Yılmaz and Prof. Dr. Rıza Bayrak, Türkeli Mayor Veysel Şahin, district protocol members, academic and administrative staff, parents, and students.
