The Chief Physician of Eskisehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Medicine Hospital, Prof. Dr. Haluk Hüseyin Gürsoy, stated in a meeting with the press that in recent times, a total of 69 million TL has been invested in the hospital, and 18 new devices have been acquired, allowing for a more comprehensive service to be provided to the public. Eskisehir Osmangazi University (ESOGÜ) Faculty of Medicine Hospital Chief Physician Prof. Dr. Haluk Hüseyin Gürsoy met with the press to provide information about the investments and improvements made to the hospital, emphasizing the improvements in the healthcare services provided to the public. Prof. Dr. Haluk Hüseyin Gürsoy mentioned that recently, a total of 69,819,400 TL worth of 18 different large-scale medical devices have been acquired for the hospital, stating that these investments will help alleviate appointment congestion. ‘We were able to carry out infrastructure projects when budget support was provided.’ ESOGÜ Faculty of Medicine Chief Physician Prof. Dr. Haluk Hüseyin Gürsoy mentioned that with the services they provide to patients, they are able to accept patients from many provinces in our country. ‘At the beginning of the year, by increasing our monthly budget and including our revolving fund power, we planned to acquire new devices. We returned from Ankara with an increase of 110 percent. The significant support from the state was crucial in obtaining this budget. Clearly presenting our receivables and deficiencies enabled us to secure this budget. This was not the case for all university hospitals. Not everyone returned from Ankara with these funds. When this support was provided, we had the opportunity to carry out these infrastructure projects.’
