Geçit: ‘Our district is meeting beautiful investments’

Yeşilyurt Mayor, Prof. Dr. İlhan Geçit, who inspects the works all around the district to bring together the quality and qualified investments in all living areas of Yeşilyurt, examined the road improvement works in Horata, Konak, and Banazı, which are the popular spots for citizens with their natural beauties and recreation areas, and met with the citizens spending time in Horata Recreation Area. Yeşilyurt Mayor, Prof. Dr. İlhan Geçit, accompanied by Deputy Mayor Mehmet Cüreoğlu, inspected the new period investments ongoing in Horata, Konak, and Banazı Neighborhoods. During the inspection, Yeşilyurt Mayor, Prof. Dr. İlhan Geçit, who also chatted with the citizens, stated that Horata, Konak, and Banazı neighborhoods, which have natural riches, will gradually receive the investments they deserve. Konak Neighborhood Headman Cahil Işıldak, Horata Neighborhood Headman Mehmet Çiçek, and Banazı Neighborhood Headman Ali Sezer, who accompanied the visit, expressed their gratitude to the Mayor and his team for responding to the demands of our neighborhoods and expressed their satisfaction with the works for road renewal and organization of green areas. Mayor Geçit, reminding that they continue to improve the living standards of all parts of Yeşilyurt with quality investments, said, ‘We tirelessly work for our fellow citizens to live in more spacious areas by decorating all around our district with beautiful, quality, and modern investments. Our Directorate of Public Works employees are offering the planned services to our citizens one by one. We bring together our neighborhoods Horata, Konak, and Banazı, which are among the historical and touristic living areas most preferred by our citizens with their natural beauties and recreation areas, with the beautiful investments they deserve. While our teams are maintaining and repairing the roads that are worn out due to infrastructure and excessive use on one hand, they ensure the preservation of the region’s existing social and natural beauties through environmental landscaping works on the other hand. We are working for the equal development and progress of all our living areas. We are on the field 24/7 for our fellow citizens to live a peaceful and safe life in the neighborhoods they reside, working at a high pace. I thank our headmen who do not hesitate to support our services successfully and my valuable colleagues who continue their work without interruption despite the hot weather, and wish them ease.’ After inspecting the road renewal services, Mayor Geçit, along with his delegation, went to Horata Recreation Area and chatted with the citizens spending time there. Mayor Geçit, who received information from the authorities about the current situation and needs of Horata Recreation Area, which is the popular spot for citizens with its cool air and natural environment, listened to the demands and requests of the citizens while interacting closely with the children.
