CHP leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu cooked keşkek with the people of Kula

Republican People’s Party (CHP) Chairman Özgür Özel cooked keşkek with the people of Manisa. Speaking at the event, Özel stated that their goal is to bring CHP to power. CHP Chairman Özgür Özel attended the 12th Traditional Keşkek Day event organized by the Bayraklı Kulalılar Association in Izmir as part of his program in Izmir. Expressing his happiness to meet with the people of Manisa in Izmir, Özel mentioned that after people registered in Izmir’s registry, the second most intense registration was from people registered in Manisa’s registry. In particular, Özel stated that one out of every 4 people in Bayraklı has a connection with Manisa, and he shared the story of a factory that was established in Kula while emphasizing the importance of youth in implementing the Republic’s development. Özel emphasized the significant contributions of Kulalılar in the Manisa elections, stating that they won Manisa with 59% of the votes with the support of the people of Manisa. Özgür Özel explained that being a part of an association requires dedication and mentioned that representatives of all CHP municipalities are open to association representatives. In his speech, Özel mentioned that they will hold a wheat rally in Tekirdağ next Friday, emphasizing the challenges faced by wheat producers in Turkey due to rising costs and low selling prices. He also expressed the party’s commitment to strive for power and to address the issues of the underprivileged until the Republican People’s Party is in power. After Özel’s speech, workers who were laid off by the Menemen Municipality asked for help, to which Özel promised to look into the matter closely. The event began with a speech by the President of the Bayraklı Kulalılar Association, Veli Topal, followed by short speeches from the mayors of Bayraklı and Çiğli. Izmir Metropolitan Mayor Cemil Tugay expressed their goal of aiming for power in Turkey and shared his belief in unity and solidarity. He thanked Özel for his leadership and expressed his support for the CHP. Following the speeches, Özel joined the locals to cook and share keşkek.
