Another move to ease traffic from President Kadir Aydar

Ceyhan Mayor Kadir Aydar, who is carrying out projects in many parts of the city ranging from the construction of new roads with smart intersections for uninterrupted and comfortable transportation in Ceyhan, has initiated the works of a project to widen Uğur Mumcu Boulevard and connect it to the highway access road as a dual lane.

In order to bring fundamental solutions to Ceyhan’s transportation problems, Ceyhan Mayor Kadir Aydar, who realizes many investments such as new roads, smart intersections, aims to relieve traffic with permanent projects. In this context, the works of the project to expand the road connecting Ceyhan and Yumurtalık, which also has a connection to the Adana-Hatay-Gaziantep highway, from a single lane between the highway access lights to a dual lane divided road, have started by the teams.

Mayor Kadir Aydar, who opened two smart intersections and a new avenue in Ceyhan, started the work that will ease the traffic on Uğur Mumcu Boulevard, one of the busiest streets at the entrance and exit of the city. In the boulevard where the Municipal Directorate of Civil Works has started the road widening works, Mayor Aydar said, ‘We are on Uğur Mumcu Boulevard. We did this work together with our former Mayor Zeydan 5 years ago. But due to reasons beyond our control, it remained incomplete. Now we are starting work to complete the unfinished story. I am giving the good news to the valuable people of Ceyhan. We will continue Uğur Mumcu Boulevard with a dual lane and a median work up to the highway lights. Ceyhan will be very beautiful, it will beautify. We will make the entrances and exits of Ceyhan suitable by pouring hot asphalt as clean as your palm. Everything is for you’.
