The foundation of the Denizli MUSIAD Science Center and Service Building was laid with a ceremony

The biggest dream of the Independent Industrialists and Businessmen’s Association (MÜSİAD), which was established in Denizli in 1993, has come true. The foundation of the MÜSİAD Denizli Branch Science Center and Service Building was laid in a ceremony attended by MÜSİAD President Mahmut Asmalı.

The foundation of the science center and service building, designed by the Independent Industrialists and Businessmen’s Association (MÜSİAD) Denizli Branch, was laid in a ceremony. The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by Governor Ömer Faruk Coşkun, Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Bülent Nuri Çavuşoğlu, PAÜ Rector Ahmet Kutluhan, Merkezefendi Municipality Mayor Şeniz Doğan, MÜSİAD President Mahmut Asmalı, AK Party Deputy Chairman Responsible for Economic Affairs Nihat Zeybekci, Denizli Exporters’ Association (DENİB) President Hüseyin Memişoğlu, MÜSİAD Denizli Branch President Engin Boyacı, Provincial Mufti Abdullah Pamuklu, department heads, MÜSİAD members, and invitees.

“Our dream is coming true”
In his opening speech at the groundbreaking ceremony, MÜSİAD Denizli Branch President Engin Boyacı said, “As MÜSİAD in Denizli, we have always been by the side of the city’s social, cultural, and economic developments since 1993. We have increased our membership in the past period. In the city center and our districts, we have achieved very large and beautiful projects with the support of our headquarters. Our biggest dream as MÜSİAD was to have our own education and service building. For this, we made long efforts and negotiations. By the permission of Allah, today we are all together at this ceremony to lay the foundation. We were fortunate to finish the education and service building project initiated by our previous MÜSİAD Denizli Branch President Mehmet Akgün and lay its foundation. I thank Mehmet President and the board members of that period. Hopefully, we will inaugurate our building shortly after laying its foundation today. We will strive for the construction of our building, which will be very suitable for our city and our MÜSİAD members, to be completed and put into service without any incidents”.

“The center is very important”
Merkezefendi Municipality Mayor Şeniz Doğan, emphasizing that the science center will also be included in the MÜSİAD service building, said, “We have made great efforts for the construction of our service building, which will also include the science center, together with MÜSİAD members and management. Science is very important to us. As a municipality, we have built a science center. We are dealing with its interior decorations, and we are very happy to have such a building in our district”.

“We should say ‘we’ instead of ‘I'”
Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Bülent Nuri Çavuşoğlu, emphasizing the importance of working by saying ‘we’ instead of ‘I’, said, “We have always been with those who work by saying ‘we’ instead of ‘I’ and want to contribute something to our city and our country. We will continue to be there. We are going through an economically difficult period. We should be united. Congratulations on the groundbreaking of our service building. We expect it to be completed and inaugurated as soon as possible”.

“It will be a very important center”
MÜSİAD President Mahmut Asmalı stated the following in his speech: “With the great efforts of our former president Mehmet Akgün and the efforts of our current president Engin Boyacı, our service building and science center construction, which has reached the groundbreaking ceremony stage today, congratulations. This place will serve our youth, one third of our 14 thousand members are young people. Each of our branch presidents is also the guardian of a vocational high school. This is our condition. Our youth need exemplary businessmen. As MÜSİAD, we have been advocates of honest trade for 34 years. We love our country very much. Summer is beautiful in its own way, and winter is beautiful in its own way. We support any activity that is beneficial to humanity. We attach great importance to these structures in the provinces. This building will be an important center for MÜSİAD’s important work in education and services”.

After the speeches, the foundation of the MÜSİAD Denizli Branch Science Center and Service Building was laid by the protocol members together after the prayer by Provincial Mufti Abdullah Pamuklu.
