Anadolu University continues its success in the Engelsiz Universite Awards given by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK). The universities deemed worthy of the ‘Engelsiz Universite Awards’ this year have been announced. Anadolu University ranked second in the Engelsiz Program Merit Awards this year with 8 merits. The program merits received by Anadolu University are as follows: Distance Education System; Public Relations and Advertising Program, Visual Communication Design Program, Philosophy Program, Health Management Program, Faculty of Education; Special Education Teaching Program, Social Studies Teaching Program, Faculty of Tourism; Tourism Management Department, School of Handicapped Students; Graphic Arts Program. Additionally, our university was awarded the Blue Flag Award in the Socio-Cultural Activities Accessibility category. Anadolu University, in the Engelsiz Universite Awards held since 2018, has so far received 29 Flags, 78 Program Merits, and 1 Award, continuing its success by adding new achievements every year. ‘We strive to improve every year’ Speaking about the Engelsiz Universite Awards, Rector Prof. Dr. Fuat Erdal said, ‘Since 2018, we have consistently achieved success in these awards as Anadolu University. We are conducting our work to be better every year. This year, we experienced this joy once again by receiving 8 merits. The Flags and Program Merits awarded by the YÖK both make us proud and motivate us for our future work.
