The works carried out in the courses provided at Public Education Centers in Şırnak were exhibited at the ‘Lifelong Learning Festival’. In the context of ‘Lifelong Learning’ in Şırnak, all the works carried out in the Public Education Centers, Family Support Centers, and Multipurpose Community Centers in Beytüşşebap, Uludere, Cizre, Silopi, Cizre, İdil, and Güçlükonak districts were showcased at Cumhuriyet Square. Ferhat Davran, the Head of Monitoring and Evaluation Department of Lifelong Learning General Directorate of the Ministry of National Education, stated that the activities and events carried out in the courses opened in 3,773 lesson modules in 76 fields within the lifelong learning program in 923 districts in 81 provinces with a thousand Public Education Centers and 32 Maturity Institutes were highlighted during the ‘Lifelong Learning Festival’. He mentioned that they had a week in which these activities were exhibited, sold, and contributed to family budgets. The Provincial Director of National Education, İzzettin Aydın, expressed that they provide services with hundreds of courses. Aydın stated that in the period between September and June of this year, 5,030 different courses were opened throughout the province, and approximately 72,000 course participants benefited from these courses. He added that 1,953 master instructors were employed during this process. Aydın also mentioned that they will continue to open courses in every corner of the province in the upcoming academic year. After the speeches, the exhibition was opened to visitors. The exhibition includes a variety of handicraft products such as carpets, wood burning, pattern making, handicrafts, wire bending, knitting, painting, filigree, and recycling materials. The exhibition will be open to visitors throughout the day. Governor Cevdet Atay, Chief of Police Celal Dalman, Provincial Director of National Education İzzettin Aydın, institution directors, and many citizens attended the opening of the exhibition.
