The future of Bursa is being shaped with collective wisdom

As part of the strategic planning works that will determine the roadmap of Bursa, the Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Bozbey, who visited the Gemlik Municipality, said, ‘As Metropolitan and Gemlik Municipalities, we will sign projects that will make the people of Gemlik happy and smile together.’ Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Bozbey continues the strategic planning works for 2024-2029 of the Metropolitan Municipality. Strategy meetings, which will consider Bursa as a whole, continued with Gemlik Municipality following İnegöl Municipality. Mayor Mustafa Bozbey of the Metropolitan Municipality and Mayor Şükrü Deviren of Gemlik, along with the participation of both municipal officials, discussed projects that will advance Gemlik and make it more livable. A presentation on district-specific information was also made, and after the meeting, Mayor Bozbey and Şükrü Deviren presented gifts to each other. Mayor Bozbey expressed his satisfaction in visiting Mayor Şükrü Deviren and his colleagues, stating, ‘We held a meeting with Gemlik Municipality as part of the strategic planning works of the Metropolitan Municipality. We reviewed the projects prepared for the future of Gemlik. As Metropolitan and Gemlik Municipalities, we will sign projects that will make the people of Gemlik happy and smile together. We will realize our strategic plan in this direction. Gemlik will become a livable city with the projects we will create.’ Gemlik Mayor Şükrü Deviren emphasized the importance of the visit of the Metropolitan Municipality delegation. Deviren said, ‘The visit to Gemlik is proof of the seriousness of the matter and the services that will make Bursa smile are on the way. We trust our Metropolitan Municipality Mayor. The people of Bursa should not worry. The days we will smile are near.’ Following the meeting, Mayor Bozbey and his entourage conducted inspections at the old Gemlik municipality building, which is in a dormant state.
