He demanded an explanation on the actions of those who misuse their authority illegally and cause difficulties for the municipality and the citizens.
During a press conference at the party headquarters, AK Party Izmir Provincial Chairman Bilal Saygılı, along with other party members, addressed the issues related to Izmir Metropolitan Municipality and the city’s agenda. Saygılı emphasized that dark dealings were carried out with Izmir Metropolitan Municipality’s involvement in Izmir’s urban crisis. He criticized the lack of progress in various urban transformation projects and questioned the allocation of funds. Saygılı also mentioned the lack of transparency in the allocation of resources and the slow pace of projects.

Saygılı also addressed the public transportation issues in Izmir, particularly focusing on the operations of IZBAN and the financial challenges faced by the municipality in managing the transportation network.
