Altınordu has added defender Ali Çırak, who plays for the German team TS Dortmund, to its squad.

Keen on making a strong start to the new season, Altınordu continues to strengthen its squad as the summer transfer window approaches. Initially appointing Olcay Şahan as the head coach, the red and navy team then turned their focus to player transfers. The İzmir-based team signed a 3-year contract with 23-year-old defender Ali Çırak from the German 5th division representative Türkspor Dortmund, following Hüseyin Bulut, Bahattin Karahan, and Emre Aydınel. Speaking at the signing ceremony held at the Torbalı Metin Oktay Campus, Çırak expressed his happiness for joining Altınordu, thanking everyone who provided him with this opportunity, particularly the club president. He stated, ‘I consider it a great fortune to be here. It wasn’t difficult to make a decision when I saw the facilities and opportunities here. I will compete to the best of my ability in all trainings and matches. A great season awaits us.’

Korkmaz: ‘We will build a championship team’
A Team Sporting Director Murat Korkmaz also commented, ‘Our transfer activities continue within the scope of the Altınordu 2024 project. After Hüseyin Bulut, Bahattin Karahan, and Emre Aydınel, we have included Ali Çırak in our squad. Despite being a left-footed defender, he stands out with his physique and maturity as a player. We were already closely monitoring him. He has experienced championship with the teams he played for, and hopefully the same will happen for Altınordu next season. We are also working to build a strong team for the championship. We will have a few more transfers.’
