Various handmade products prepared by trainees who received various trainings with the support of master instructors within the scope of Yozgat Public Education Center were exhibited throughout the year.

An event was organized by the Yozgat Public Education Center Directorate within the framework of ‘Lifelong Learning Week’. The opening of the event held at Cumhuriyet Square was made by Yozgat Deputy Governor Adnan Kayık, and the exhibition included examples of ceramics, handicrafts, weaving, oil painting, needlework, and decorative items prepared by master instructors and trainees throughout the year. The folk dance performances displayed at the opening received great admiration.

The Provincial Director of National Education, Ismail Altınkaynak, stated that the Ministry of National Education celebrates the first week of June as the ‘Lifelong Learning Week’ every year, aiming to develop and promote the culture of lifelong learning through such activities.

Altınkaynak, emphasizing that Lifelong Learning is a lifelong educational activity for everyone from 7 to 70, said, ‘Lifelong Learning is a series of activities in which everyone participates. Through this week, we aim to increase participation in learning activities, inform our people about learning opportunities, encourage learning, strengthen the connection between the past and the present. On this occasion, we witness a serious effort put forth here, to stimulate the interest and desire for courses for our people to improve themselves, highlight the fun and enjoyable aspect of learning, ensure everyone’s participation in the learning process, and strengthen the connection between the past and the present.’

The opening of the exhibition was attended by the Provincial Mufti Ali Gülden, school and institution directors, trainees, and a large number of citizens.
