Round University Ranking (RUR), one of the prestigious university ranking organizations in the world, has been published. Istanbul Beykent University ranked 947th globally and 37th in Turkey in the ranking for the first time this year. The ranking evaluates universities worldwide based on their academic performance, educational quality, international diversity, and financial sustainability. Istanbul Beykent University stood out in the ranking, particularly in the areas of education and teaching quality, research activities, and international diversity. The university’s investments in research activities and the scientific studies of its academic staff contributed to its ranking of 711th in the ‘research’ category worldwide. The university’s active role in international projects and its emphasis on global collaborations propelled Istanbul Beykent University to the 678th spot in the ‘international diversity’ category globally. The Rector, Prof. Dr. Volkan Öngel, stated that the university’s goal is to continuously improve the quality of education and provide students with the best academic experience. He expressed that the university’s success in the ranking is an indication that its education and research quality is internationally recognized. He believes that this achievement will be a great source of motivation for both current and prospective students. The university aims to continue announcing its name on the international stage with similar successes in the future with a focus on excellence in education and providing the best educational opportunities for its students.
