A ‘Career and Employment Fair’ was organized in collaboration between Gaziosmanpaşa Municipality and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Regional Employment Office. The event aims to assist those who want to become employed while offering great opportunities for those seeking to shape their careers. Gaziosmanpaşa Municipality and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Regional Employment Office jointly organized the ‘Career and Employment Fair’ at Gaziosmanpaşa Culture and Art Center. The event will provide great opportunities for those looking to shape their careers, as well as assistance to young people who want to become employed. The event, where 14 private sector companies set up booths and accepted job applications, will offer job and career opportunities from leading companies in the field, professional development training, interview techniques, CV writing seminars, and workshop training sessions. ‘We aim to provide employment to citizens’ Gaziosmanpaşa Municipality Employment Office Authority Ufuk Güven, who hosted the fair, stated, ‘We aim to provide employment to citizens in our district by working jointly with Gaziosmanpaşa Municipality and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Employment Office. Prior to this, we will have training sessions for citizens regarding their careers, and then we aim to provide employment to our citizens with the participation of 15 companies.’ ‘More than 15 companies participated’ Ebru Demir, the Coordinator of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Regional Employment Office, who participated in the fair, stated, ‘More than 15 companies participated. There are over 40 different job positions in both white-collar and blue-collar sectors from nearby companies to Gaziosmanpaşa district. We serve as a mediator to help our youth, women who want to become employed, and the local community to become employed by enlightening, informing, and supporting them through education.’
