GKV students were enchanted by the English musical

The students of the Gaziantep College Foundation Private Middle School Theater Club, with the motto ‘From Page to Stage,’ staged a play called ‘The Princess and the Pea’ in English with great effort. After the highly acclaimed show, the high-performing students were applauded by the guests while Fevzi Gürsel, the General Manager of GKV Private Schools, congratulated the actors and those involved by presenting them with flowers. Gaziantep College Foundation Private Schools, celebrating its 60th anniversary with great enthusiasm, continues to showcase its effectiveness in performing arts by staging various Turkish and English theater and musical performances. This time, the students of GKV Private Middle School attracted attention with a magnificent English musical. The 5th-grade students of Gaziantep College Foundation Private Middle School staged the English theater play ‘The Princess and the Pea,’ prepared with the motto ‘From Page to Stage.’ This play, prepared with a giant cast of 36 actors and dancers, mesmerized the audience. The play was directed by GKV Private Schools English Teachers Didem Özahi and Derya Gündüz, Drama Teacher Ayşe Sevil Kılıç, choreographed by Dance Teacher Abdullah Doğan, and the set design was done by Visual Arts Teachers Hayal Bazoğlu, Şeyma Aslantaş, and Emine Koyuncugil. At the end of the play, which was almost like a Broadway production, Fevzi Gürsel, the General Manager of GKV Private Schools, presented flowers to the administrators and teachers involved in the production as a memento of the day, congratulating the students on their success. Drawing attention to the importance of performing arts, Seçil Güldemet, the Principal of GKV Private Middle School, added that the talents of the students studying within the GKV in various fields, including performing arts, are identified and developed with great care.
