Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe fans celebrated their 24th championship together

Galatasaray’s 24th league championship was celebrated in an extraordinary way in Honaz district of Denizli. Colorful scenes emerged during the championship celebration held together by Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe fans, especially children.

Rüstem Ragib, an Ahıska Turkish resident of Denizli’s Honaz district, celebrated Galatasaray’s Super League championship in front of his house with an enthusiastic event. Ahıska Turkish fans and their children attended the night’s celebrations. The celebration created an unforgettable scene of brotherhood with the participation of not only Galatasaray fans but also Fenerbahçe supporters.

Children joyfully celebrated with torches, cutting cakes to crown Galatasaray’s victories. In addition, participants were entertained with organized competitions. The entertainment continued until late at night, as fans of the two rival teams showcased unity and solidarity. The celebration highlighted the unifying aspect of football beyond rivalry, fostering a beautiful friendship among the children.

Rüstem Ragib pointed out that the celebration holds an important lesson not only for football fans but for the whole society, stating, ‘Celebrating our Galatasaray’s championship has become a tradition.
