Enerjisa’s electricity distribution companies Başkent EDAŞ, Ayedaş, and Toroslar EDAŞ continue to provide training for students studying in the field of electrical-electronics and field teachers within the scope of vocational training activities for a better future in 14 provinces where distribution services are provided. Aimed at contributing to Turkey’s productivity, the project, which has been carried out with great dedication since 2018, has provided training to more than 8,300 students and field teachers.

Focused on human and technology to contribute to a smarter and greener world, Başkent EDAŞ, Ayedaş, and Toroslar EDAŞ, which produce projects, have been collaborating tirelessly with the Ministry of National Education since 2018 within the scope of vocational training activities in the 14 provinces where they provide electricity distribution services. The electricity distribution sector is introduced to engineers, technicians, and technician candidates with the Mobile Education Center Project to contribute to their development and support the country’s productivity and employment.

According to the announcement, the project, which is a first in the sector and developed to support the career development of young people, has reached more than 8,300 students and field teachers. The project, which has been ongoing since 2018 in Istanbul, Hatay, Mersin, Adana, Gaziantep, Ankara, Bartın, Karabük, Çankırı, Kastamonu, and Kırıkkale, covers all the details from the beginning to the end of the journey of energy, starting from where the responsibilities of electricity distribution companies begin to consumers’ homes. The training also includes occupational health and safety education, which is one of the most important topics in the electricity distribution sector.

Oğuzhan Özsürekci, General Manager of Enerjisa Distribution Companies, said, ‘Our Mobile Education Center, which is the first of its kind in the sector in Turkey, continues its fieldwork with all its equipment. With the support of our Technical Development teams, we attach importance to showing the working principles of the distribution sector to the youth, who are the future of the sector, practically and introducing our sector to them. We aim to contribute to the productivity and employment of our country. In this context, we took a step towards creating qualified labor force by signing a protocol with the Ministry of National Education in 2018. We are happy to have reached more than 8,300 students and field teachers so far and to be part of an education that will benefit their development for a better future.’
