Emphasizing the importance of awareness, Mayor Hilal Ayık stated, ‘Turkish Red Crescent, with its nearly two centuries of history, is an institution that rushes to the aid of needy people in many parts of the world without discrimination based on language, religion, or race. Our duty is to raise generations that will be beneficial in a manner befitting the prestige and history of such an esteemed institution. Donating blood saves lives. Among our citizens, there are regular blood donors and those who donate for the first time. I thank each and every one of them separately. I invite you to donate blood to our Turkish Red Crescent regularly to help those in need and to preserve future generations.’
