Bayraklı Municipality teams completed their preparations at the sacrificial animal sales place in Doğançay before the upcoming Eid al-Adha. In this context, teams from the Cleaning, Parks and Gardens, and Public Works Directorates made the area ready for use, while the Municipal Police and Veterinary Affairs Directorates conducted inspections and controls together with the District Mufti’s Office and the District Agriculture and Forestry Directorate. The Bayraklı District Police Department teams are ensuring the security of the area with preventive patrols. Sellers coming to Bayraklı from various cities in Turkey are provided services such as electricity, water, toilets, showers, disinfection, and cleaning.
Before the Eid al-Adha, within the scope of the works carried out at the Doğançay sacrificial animal sales place under the coordination of the Bayraklı Municipality Municipal Police Directorate, the teams from relevant units completed their necessary preparations. In this context, the District Agriculture and Forestry Directorate, Bayraklı Municipality Veterinary Affairs Directorate, and mufti teams carried out all controls of the animals, examined their vaccination statuses, and checked their necessary documents.
The fixed bathrooms and toilets in the area, for the use of sellers, are regularly cleaned, and 24-hour hot water and electricity services are provided. The municipal teams also provide additional services by supplying water to the sales and slaughtering area for daily water usage through tankers. The İzmir Metropolitan Municipality disinfection team regularly disinfects the sacrificial animal sales place against infectious diseases and pests. The municipal teams, who regularly clean the area for public health, also frequently perform irrigation.
Bayraklı Mayor İrfan Önal said, ‘Our teams have completed their preparations at the sacrificial animal sales and slaughtering places before the holiday. Our on-duty teams will continue to serve in the area throughout the holiday period. Our citizens can shop with peace of mind.’
