Bodrum Football Club marked its promotion to the Super League with enthusiastic celebrations in Bodrum. In the celebration where green and white torches covered the city, the players and technical team toured the city on an open-top bus. First, the management, then the technical team and players lifted the championship cup in front of the jubilant fans amidst a spectacular fireworks show. Bodrum FC President Fikret Öztürk, who stated that the matches will be played in Bodrum, said, ‘Hopefully, we will play the match here, and we will try to do everything we can.’ In the 1st League Play-Off final match, Bodrum FK secured their place in the Super League by defeating Sakaryaspor 3-1, and celebrated with their fans. As part of the championship celebrations, players and the technical team toured from Bodrumspor Gümbet Facilities to the Municipality Square on an open-top bus. Thousands of fans accompanied the team with torches and Bodrum FK flags. In the ongoing celebrations at the Municipality Square, players and the technical team took the stage to greet the fans with songs of their choice. After the management and players lifted the cup, a breath-taking fireworks show lasting for minutes added excitement to the night. The concert of Bülent Serttaş, who performed the song ‘Love is Happening in Bodrum, My Beautiful’, which is synonymous with Bodrum FK, entertained the fans. The celebrations continued throughout the night. The club has no debt. Bodrum Football Club President Fikret Öztürk stated that the club has no debt, thanking Rıza Karakaya and his team for their contributions to transforming Bodrumspor from an association to a joint-stock company. Öztürk also expressed his gratitude to the board of directors for their support. He mentioned that the team has spent 24 million Euros so far, and currently, Bodrum FK is debt-free in the Super League. Manager İsmet Taşdemir of Bodrum Football Club, expressing his happiness for the championship, stated that it was his dream to coach in the Super League. Star player Kenan Özer expressed his joy for the championship and thanked the team for their sacrifices. Provincial Governor of Muğla, İdris Akbıyık, and Mayor of Muğla Metropolitan Municipality, Ahmet Aras, also delivered messages of support during the celebration program.
