Award to UAV at the 23rd Tokat En’leri Awards Ceremony

The 23rd Tokat Awards, organized by Tokat Gündem Newspaper, were held at the Kocaeli Congress Center on June 2nd. During the ceremony, Halit Arslan, the Istanbul Correspondent of Ihlas News Agency (IHA), was also awarded as the successful journalist of the year.

The 23rd Tokat En’leri Ali Şevki Eren Awards Ceremony, organized by Tokat Gündem Newspaper, was held on June 2nd at the Kocaeli Congress Center. During the ceremony, Halit Arslan, the Istanbul Correspondent of Ihlas News Agency (IHA), received the award for the successful journalist of the year.

The Tokat En’leri Ali Şevki Eren Awards Ceremony, organized in the name of Tokat province and known as one of the longest-running events in Turkish history, was organized for the 23rd time this year by the editorial board of Tokat Gündem Newspaper. The event evaluated successful figures from various fields such as executives, members of parliament, mayors, business personalities, arts, press, sports, civil society organizations, and individual achievements. The award ceremony commenced with the opening speech by Bayram Güvercin, the publisher of Tokat Gündem Newspaper.

At the award night hosted by artist Seyhan Güler and journalist Hakan Erden, Halit Arslan, the Istanbul Correspondent of Ihlas News Agency (IHA), was honored with the award for the successful journalist of the year for his news coverage. Arslan received his award from retired governor Amir Çiçek and Reşadiye Mayor Ergün Ünal.

Halit Arslan expressed his gratitude for being deemed worthy of this award as a successful reporter for Tokat Gündem Newspaper. He stated that the award is a result of hard work and dedication. He also thanked the Tok Gönül Association and Tokat Gündem Newspaper for their support towards the Palestinian cause. Reşadiye Mayor Ergün Ünal appreciated the efforts of Tokat Gündem Newspaper in organizing such events that bring excitement to the locals.

Zekeriya Yılmaz, the Editor-in-Chief of Tokat Gündem Newspaper, emphasized the importance of preserving core values for the sustainability of an organization. He mentioned the positive reception of their work by the public due to their commitment to local journalism and social responsibility.

Furthermore, during the 23rd Tokat En’leri Awards Ceremony held at Kocaeli Congress Center, the sales from stands set up by Tokgönül Association, as well as the proceeds from the sales of traditional garments, tablecloths, scarves, and other items, will be donated to Palestine. Guests were also treated to traditional dishes like ‘keşkek’ and ‘Tokat sarma’ along with various refreshments.
