The third stop of the Beauties of Turkey is Bursa

The ‘Beauties of Turkey Exhibition’, curated by the Turkish Photo Journalists Association (TFMD), is meeting with the public in Bursa, the third stop of the Culture Road Festivals that will take place in 16 different cities in Turkey for 8 months. The exhibition, which TFMD has taken to more than twenty countries from Germany to the USA, from Russia to South Africa, from India to Zambia, from Qatar to Argentina, will be displayed at the Bursa Merinos Atatürk Congress and Culture Center between June 1 and June 9. The exhibition features 39 different photos taken by 31 master photographers.

A selection of Turkey’s beauties

Photos awarded in the ‘Press Photos of the Year’ competition, which TFMD has been organizing continuously for 39 years, are leaving a mark on Turkey’s visual history. In order to contribute to the country’s promotion, the ‘Beauties of Turkey’ was added as a separate competition to this competition organization since 2018. Selected from a vast archive of award-winning photos from the competition, these photos have been taken to different cities around the world through various selections and have now been brought to the Culture Road Festivals, which successfully unify art, culture, history in one place.

Continuing to adorn the cultural routes

Rıza Özel, the President of the Turkish Photo Journalists Association, emphasized the importance of the ‘Beauties of Turkey Exhibition’, which has been presented in approximately 20 different countries, meeting with the public through the Culture Road Festivals, the country’s most important cultural and art organization. He stated, ‘The visual richness of our country continues to adorn the cultural routes through this exhibition. Our exhibition, which has presented the visual beauties of Turkey, promoting the country, in many important cities in various countries before, is now meeting with our citizens in Bursa following the Adana and Şanlıurfa Culture Road Festivals.’
