Following the workshop held in Aydın last week regarding the snakehead fish that breed only in the Saragossa Gulf of Mexico and after their approximately 3-year journey of 7,000 kilometers reaching the Aegean coasts, this week the nutrients contained in the snakehead fish were announced. Karya Farma, continuing its work on 17 patented projects at ADU Technopolis, revealed the results of its studies on the snakehead fish brought into the laboratory environment. It was stated that snakehead fish are beneficial for many diseases, especially cancer.
Research on snakehead fish that set off from the Saragossa Gulf of Mexico, crossed the Ocean, passed through the Strait of Gibraltar, arrived at Lake Bafa via the Büyük Menderes River, and continued their life cycles is ongoing. Hakan Başlık, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Karya Farma HBX R&D, announced the laboratory results of the mysterious snakehead fish whose secret of their journey has not been solved.
“More effective against aggressive cancer diseases”. Hakan Başlık, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Karya Farma HBX R&D, stated about the results of their studies, “In the studies we have been conducting in the laboratory, it was found that 100 grams of snakehead fish contain 26 mg of calcium, 3,787 IU of vitamin A, 1.8 mg of vitamin C, and 0.64 mg of iron. Additionally, we have started studies on the use of snakehead fish, which are rich in protein, Omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals, high in fat content, and besides their delicious taste, can be used as a support for many clinical treatments, especially in the treatment of aggressive cancer types due to their richness in phosphorus.”
Stating that pharmaceutical compounds without toxic effects are preferred among the treatment methods used in the prevention, treatment, or alleviation of symptoms caused by cancer or tumors, Başlık noted, “In this sense, the benefits of snakehead fish turned out to be quite mysterious as their journey. In our studies, the fact that the mentioned pharmaceutical compounds only affect harmful cancer or tumor cells and do not have an effect on healthy cells will make snakehead fish a preferred option in medicine.”
According to the research, it was stated that snakehead fish components contain vitamins B6 and C, phosphate, sodium, potassium, selenium, zinc, sulfur, manganese minerals. In addition to being delicious, the benefits of snakehead fish were listed as follows: “- Protects heart and vascular health. Lowers cholesterol. Beneficial for asthma and allergic diseases. Strengthens sexual potency. Strengthens the skin. Beneficial for cracks and diaper rash. Strengthens the immune system. Strengthens brain cells.”
