Students from Deneyap in Şırnak met at the Aviation and Space Technologies Project Festival

The prototypes of technological products designed by students receiving training at Deneyap Technology Workshops in Şırnak were exhibited at the Aviation and Space Festival. Şırnak Youth and Sports Provincial Directorate’s Youth Center in collaboration with Turkey Technology Team (T3) Foundation, students in Şırnak presented the aviation and space-related prototypes they made to the jury members. Students made presentations with projects prepared by 30 students going through 3 stages. Especially air defense and rocket vehicles stood out at the festival. Abdullah Ayar, the Director of Şırnak Youth and Sports Provincial Directorate, who attended the festival, expressed that it was exciting and enjoyable for him to make a speech in such a beautiful environment. Rukiye Asan, the Responsible of Turkey Technology Team Foundation in Şırnak, who provided information about the festival, said that the projects made in terms of space and aviation are a great source of inspiration for children. Asan stated, “Our children received education in 11 modules at Deneyap workshop. We realized the festival of the aviation and space technologies training module, which is our last module, today. Here, our students deserved to be a Deneyap student by going through 3 stages. Our Board of Trustees Chairman Selçuk Bayraktar is a very good role model for our children here. The projects he has done in terms of industry and technology, space and aviation such as Bayraktar TB2, Hürkuş, ANKA, KAAN, and Kızılelma are a great inspiration for children. Our children realized flying their drones and rockets here. They presented the scenarios of the work they did in our festival to the audience and jury members. Children had the opportunity to present the model prototypes they made themselves and gifts were presented to the students who received awards through scoring by the jury. We see the rockets, drones, and UAVs in the hands of our children not only as prototypes but also as a great step towards technological development and progress in terms of national technology move, aiming to develop entirely local and national vehicles. We do everything we can to contribute locally to the national technology move constantly emphasized by our Board of Trustees Chairman Selçuk Bayraktar.
