President Şadi Özdemir hosted 1,400 people in one day

Nilüfer Municipality Mayor Şadi Özdemir hosted 1,400 people in a day by accepting appointments collectively. Mayor Özdemir stated, “From now on, we accept all of Bursa to congratulate us. We want to go out to the field and get things done.” Nilüfer Municipality Mayor Şadi Özdemir welcomed 1,400 people from different groups in 13 hours. During the appointments held at Nilüfer Municipality Wedding Hall, Özdemir, who allocated time to each group, did not refuse those who wanted to take a souvenir photo. He emphasized that they accept all of Bursa’s well-wishes and highlighted the need to go out to the field to get things done.
“We want to get things done”
“Today, we are hosting 1,400 people. However, before today, we almost hosted 300 to 400 people every day. We wanted to end this meeting traffic,” said Mayor Şadi Özdemir, “That’s why today we organized a meeting event that will last from 9:00 am to midnight. Therefore, everyone is here. From now on, we accept all of Bursa to congratulate us. We want to go out to the field and get things done. With today, we are wrapping up all the appointments.” Speaking about the first actions he will take, Özdemir said, “First, we will start the opening of our university cafeterias here, like the ones in Istanbul. Then we have 2 childcare home projects, a project we care about. We want to say to working women, ‘Leave your children with us.’ That’s why we will have daycare center constructions. We are starting with one dormitory. Of course, we are doing these within the framework of savings measures, with sponsors and charitable citizens. We have donors for 2 daycares and one dormitory. We will first put them into operation. In short, our priorities are cafeterias, daycares, and dormitories.
First cafeteria to Görükle
Nilüfer Municipality Mayor Şadi Özdemir concluded his words as follows: “We will build our first cafeteria in Görükle District. We chose there because we have a high student population in Görükle and we know the cost of living. Our student siblings are usually trying to feed on fast food, but they don’t even have enough money for that. Our youth, who cannot get enough calories, have no chance of saving the future of our country. Mustafa Kemal Atatürk entrusted the republic to the youth. We, on the other hand, are working for them to get enough calories. In short, due to the student population, we will open our first university cafeteria in Görükle District.
